How many moving boxes do I need for a 1-bedroom apartment?
About 20 to 30 boxes or bins. Our 20-tote Starter package covers most studios and small one-bedrooms; add a 10-pack if you have a lot of books or kitchenware.
How many boxes for a 2-bedroom apartment?
About 40. Our 40-tote package fits most two-bedroom apartments and condos. Each tote holds about the same as a large cardboard box, so the count carries over.
How many boxes for a 3-bedroom house?
About 60. Houses add a garage, a linen closet and more kitchen gear, which is why the 60-tote package includes two dollies.
How many boxes for a 4-bedroom house?
About 80, and more with a full garage or home office. Start with the 80-tote package and add 10-packs as needed.
What makes people need more bins?

- Home office with paper files: add 5 to 10.
- Kids' toys: add 5 to 10 per child.
What should not go in bins?
Hanging clothes (use wardrobe boxes), large framed art and mirrors, TVs, lamps and anything hazardous.
